    CTC creator dual

How about a sub forum for us. Recent price reductions made it almost impossible to resist getting one

Would be nice, add the manufacture has none, to have a gathering point

Any review on how it works? The price is so low that it's almost cheaper for me to buy it than build my own

The CTC is the cheapest of all the replicator clones, not just in price, but in quality. I would have a difficult time recommending another of these bots, unless the person is willing and able to rebuild it. I have had no support from the seller of the manufacturer. Pay particular attention to the heater core. Why CTC chose to use uninsulated exosed wires barely 3mm apart is beyond me. Those two wires have a habit of touching and taking the motherboard with it. I just had three stepper cables,( X, A, B) fail withing 10 hours of each other about the 1500 hour mark, all at the crimp connection. The PTFE lined extruders have also been a constant source of frustration. If I were buying another clone today, I would buy either a flashforge creator pro or a wanhao 4s. With all that being said, when the CTC prints, it prints well. But mine has most definitely been down more then up, and sourcing parts has been an adventure.

Thanks for the honest review. I'll keep working on my custom build in the meantime

                hello all
I have just received my ctc dual nozzle 3d printer , and so far all ok , but am starting to read a few forums that are pointing out a loty off problem points.
Mine came out well packed and all new parts, downloaded the software ok and stated printing. but if the experienced people out their have key points or features that should be checked or fixed up I would like to fix them now before they become an issue

                cheers from Aus

                  Hi,

we have the CTC recommended in our forum in Germany long and Support also to all problems, since it was a very good printer until recently. We have a lot of CTC with satisfied users. However, just lately the quality of the printer has extremely diminished. It was delivered in the last 2 months, almost no truly operable printer more so that we have adjusted our recommendation on this model and now even Opensorce working on the development of a particularly suitable for beginners printer with high pressure.

                  Greetings Edwin
