Extruder clicking when pulling on spool
I have always always had problems with my extruder clicking but I have been a bit lazy and since it hasn't greatly effected the print quality I haven't addressed it. I have the spool riding on two pairs of bearings so the spool can roll with very little effort. But even with this set up my printer has problems pulling on the filament. If I unroll the spool a little it works with no problem.
Like I said it hasn't really affected the quality in a large way so I've left it until now, but it is...

    Flashforge finder
My parents are buying me a flashforge finder for my very first 3d printer. Could anyone give me some tips and tricks about this printer and 3d printing in general? Thank you.

How would you print a horse?
I'm curious on how y'all would approach printing a horse. I was maybe considering printing one upside down to reduce the amount of supports. I probably wouldn't need a raft. The legs being straight up might not be a good idea. I haven't had much luck printing long thin objects. I was also considering side ways. But that would probably create some ugly textures from the edges of various layer. If I print one standing though. That would be a ton of supports.I think I'd most certainly need a raft....

    ABS Layer Warping
I am new to the 3D printing world but love to tinker and make things. I am having an issue when I print larger ABS parts they warp and sometimes (as seen in photos) the layers don't even bond to each other. From what I have read online the solution seems to simply switch to PLA, is that true?

This was printed on my Monoprice Maker Select V2 with my bed at 100C, extruder at 220C, 15% infill, and 60 mm/min print speed.

External motor driver TB6600 on Rumba Board
Due to power problems on mi printer i was thinking on having the four Z motor driven by an external driver as the TB6600. That way i can use independent power suply's and have more power on the other motors.

I think that this might be the conections to use:

    Are these OK?...

    New 400x400x300 Printer
    Hi
Just finished building my new printer.
Its seams ok when testing and adjusting single axels, but when working all together it starts to fai some random motor,
I'm using a total of 8 nema motors:
    4 on Z axel
    2 on y axel
    1 on x axel
    1 for extruder
Heated bed uses 220v with a SSR
Extruder uses a separeted 12v power supy wtih a SSR

I'm using a 12V 20A power suply, but for the sinthoms it seams that i'm low on power.

    Can...

    Two color prints
I ran across a pattern for a two color vase, but I don't understand how it is done. There are two .stl files, each responsible for one part of the pattern. What now? I have a FF Creator Pro....

    Getting going...
My prints have a general tendency to not start well: the first part of the print seems to simply not do so.
I'm reasonably certain that I've got the bed level, and pretty close to the right height (a Z-axis fine adjuster is being printed now).

What I think I want to do, if only as a fudge to test the theory, is to begin each print with a little scribble in the corner out of the way to make sure it's started writing before it starts writing.
I assume that can be done with...

Which 3D Printer to go for
    Hi guys!

I'm new to the 3d scene but just wanted to know a few things?

I wouldn't mind creating a Robocop suit by means of a good print but is it possible to wear this? some say you cant and others say its fine as the ABS is strong and durable?

What 3d printer is a good quality buy at the moment as I'm intending spending about 800 on one

    Any help much appreciated!!!...

SolidScape T66 for sale. Worldwide shipping available.
    Hello everyone,

I'm selling my SolidScape T66BT2. It was made in 2004 and I have it since 2009. I'm selling it since I don't need it anymore. It lacks a build jet, other than that it is in great working condition. It comes with 2 build plates. A carrying assembly with its own air conditioner. I also have some build and support materials that I can include depending on the negotiation. It can ship almost everywhere, the shipping cost is about 1000$. I think 5000$ is a good price for...
