first time printing and some problems

    Hi guys!

couple questions I would be super thankful if someone could help me with. I can't seem to get in touch with XYZ support...

my work has purchased a Da Vinci 1.0a last year and apparently the person who worked here prior to me had used it, but unsuccessfully. I had now gotten my hands on it.

printing a demo piece went great. did the star vase and its now proudly sitting on my desk holding pens.

however since then nothing but trouble.

    Per this photo:

bits of the plastic seem to spool when doing anything that is overhanging. I've broken the worst of it off but here is the surface:

any ideas? this one is quite alright, but when we did a piece for work here is what happened (see the square piece with holes) its not meant to have holes, nor is t meant to look like ramen noodles.

Please advice, I love this machine (we named it Gary) and would love to be able to use it to its full capacity/be able to use it at all!

can you post a screenshot of this object in your slicer before you hit print?

It looks like you need supports for the parts that hang out from the main body. Check all the icons for one that refers to supports, click on it and see where it takes you. The slicer should be able to add the supports for you.
