Ok, I have a question, primarily because when I bought my da Vinci 1.0 printer it didn't have a manual with it... Or, if it did, my wife misplaced it along with a bunch of other things I thought I saw with it.
So, here's my question for all of you veterans...
I calibrated my hot bed with a target of 245 using the da Vinci Calibrator app. I've successfully printed all of the files on the SD card directly onto the glass plate using the red ABS filament I got with the printer. I noticed when the first layer gets placed on the glass, the layer is fairly flat without much of a cross-section. It adheres to the glass very well without any glue or painter's tape, or Build-tak.
My question is, is the 245 "target" somehow related to the Z-offset height? And, if so, would I recalibrate to a target of 250 to get a better "squish" or should I go the other way to 240?
I hope someone knows the answer!
