So to print something like that colorful mask, does the DaVinci Color include some kind of a paint program... what software will we use to design the color on the model?

If I scan a persons face and save the scanner image as an OBJ, will the DaVinci Color reproduce the flesh tone and red lipstick, blonde hair, etc from the OBJ file?

Honesty I not really like it. it looks not colorful ( it looks like they are repainted with watercolor. The colors are not bright..)

I'm actually not familiar with a lot of CAD programs that do color, I've heard of m-color from autocad, 3D Slash, and Sculpt GL.

If you scan a person and the file is in full color and saved in .obj, the da Vinci Color will print it.

I see what you mean. Some colors do appear brighter than others. I can post an update once more images are released, maybe it was only this first batch?

Hi MBH, We will have a full color slicer called RoVaSlice for all to use (for free) being released later this year. If you would like to try out the beta software visit the ORD Solutions website, and send us an email. This software allows you to paint a model in full color. Our software allows you to also bring in any already colored 3d file and will print it in the matched colors. This software can be used with any printer on the market.
