    Taulman Alloy 910 discrepancy

I tried to visit the "Introduce Yourself" form, but I got a page full of HTML.

My name is John Doner. I bought a Taz 6 about two years ago, and enjoy the challenge of getting maximum accuracy out of it. I first programed an IBM 360 in 1962, and I've been programming in one form or another ever since.

My current difficulty has to do with the Alloy 910 specs. Taulman's specs give it a print temperature of 245 - 250C, and a bed temp of 30 - 65C....

  • Why many reviews rated the print quality of the Lulzbot TAZ 6 excellents?

Hello, I have used several 3D printers. I received a sample made by the Lulzbot TAZ 6. The print quality is not very good and one of the corner was not even printed properly. I would say the Up Plus 2 prints better. Why many reviews rated the print quality of the TAZ 6 to be excellent?

    First project

I've been playing around with Fusion 360 (backstory, I used to be a Mechanical Engineer, and used Autocad many years ago), and decided to try my hand at designing something we needed. Found an iPhone 6 dock on Thingiverse, and modified it to fit with an Otterbox Commuter case. That was the easy part. Then the cable routing needed to be adjusted for better strain relief. Also added optional cable routing, and a support that extends under our SoundDock. Printed on a Lulzbot Taz 5 in black ABS,...

  • Announcing the Lulzbot TAZ 6 3D Printer

See more | Go to post

  • I have had a lulzbot taz 6 for about 2 years. From what I have read, the pro is like a Taz 6 I print quality. I recently bought a Raise3d Pro 2. I believe it is much better in print quality.
I have found that ABS sticks to the print surface very well. That is not he case with the Taz 6.

  • Which 3D printres can make nice looking transparent objects?

Hello, I have used several 3D printers such as the Up Plus 2, Makerbot 2, Stratasys uPrint 2 SE.

I am considering to buy a 3D printer for home use. It must be able to have a large print volume (at least 28-30cm in one direction). In addition, it should be able to print transparent objects nicely and clearly. In the past, I tried to print transparent objects using the Makerbot 2 and PLA. The outputs were not very transparent even the filament was transparent.

    Anybody printed...

    Problems with printing PLA

Ive been trying to use a LULZBOT TAZ 6 to print this PLA but at best, I get a print with many imperfections and inconsistency or the print fails halfway through the print and I need to clear a filament jam in the extruded. Does this mean that my printer temp is off or my extrusion multiplier is off? How can I fix this?...
