    I am currently building a Geeetech G2s Pro.

    I would find it difficult to recommend this kit to anyone.

    I am spending a considerable amount over the initial buy price to make it safe and usable.

    The connectors used on the GT2560 are a big issue. They are rated for 8A and the heated bed takes 12A. Many users are having problems with these connectors melting and burning.
    You must change these connectors in order to have a safe machine.

    Hi,

    I've been printing happily on my kit-built Mendel90 for approaching 3 years now and have been looking around for a second printer.

    I want to try some dual material printing with soluble support and I also have a desire to try a delta machine.

    Being up for a challenge I have just ordered a Geeetech G2s Pro Delta Mini from eBay. Sure it's cheap and will have some rough edges but my mission is to get it printing decently with a minimum of modifications....

    I have a Geeetech Rostock G2S pro, a dual extruder delta printer.
    The manufacturer suggests using repetier-host with slic3r, which works fine. Print quality is good, but printing time is SLOW.
    The slicer tab in repetier has two options. Slic3r (which open slic3r externally when you want to change configurations) and CuraEngine, which shows a simplified settings screen inside repetier-host.
