    October 2017 Filament Giveaway

    Thanks to our friends at GearBest.com, we are giving away 2 rolls of Anet DIY 340m 1.75mm PLA 3D Printing Filament to 2 lucky members.
    Plus, every entry will receive 50 GearBest points for free.

    To enter:
    1. Visit the product page on GearBest.com
    2. Reply to this thread with the color you would like and why. (Make sure your color is on the website, we will not accept any other colors)

    To win:
    We (Admin and GearBest.com) will select the post we see as the most "interesting" to us and other members.

    To be eligible:
    You must have at least 5 forum posts by the time the winner is annouced.
    The second roll will only be given to a member with more than 25 forum posts.



    The winner will be announced here at the start of each month. We ask, if you are lucky enough to win, that you post a short review of the filament on the forum.

    Hi, I would really like to win the transparent filament please! I am very interested in creating lighting control systems, and combining this with my passion for 3D printing leads me to crate specialist lamps using clear 3d prints to channel light in interesting ways in various environments. Examples could range from large lamps with inset LEDs to create moody lighting in a living space, to small wearable jewellery that responds to environmental cues.

      Hello, I would love the blue filament. I have been working on 3D printing and designing keyboard cases in pieces, which can use a good chunk of filament. I have blacks and grays, but some blue filament would really add a pop to some of my designs. It's super cool that this giveaway is going on, and thank you for the consideration.

        Hello, I would like the red filament please! I am designing a case for my diy pocket headphone amp and I think red would look great mounted on my black headphones. This is a great giveaway, good luck everyone!!

          Greetings, I am entering this contest and request the Golden color. I do a lot of prosthetic work and it can be very hard to get filaments in "natural skin" colors. It is very handy to have alternatives to offer. All the devices I make are donated. Many thanks for your time.

              I would like a roll of the Transparent filament for use in printing cases for my Raspberry Pi's in hopes that the LED's would be visible through the case.

              Hello. I honestly don't care what color of filament I'd get. I just bought a 3d printer and I plan to start 3d printing as an extracurricular school activity. The catch is that it wont just be my extracurricular activity. It'll be the whole schools. My teachers are ecstatic and waiting for it to come in just as much as me.
