I have had a Makerbot Replicator for years, and I have to credit Makerbot for having amazing customer support. They have some components that tend to fail (the Mightboard controller, and two specific cables), but even though I've had the printer for years, and printed more things than I can count, when things fail customer support takes amazing care of me.

I have had the same response for the most part from the customer service.... There are some things they do exceptionally well and others they still need a bit of polishing on. But for the most part they are very well at the care of the end user. The Replicator 5th Gen has a few more bugs i think them most of the others they have to offer. But using the custom profiles is really the only way to run.
