  • USE SLIC3R with DA VINCI 1.0 PRINTERS

    Here and after find a guide of HOW TO print with SLIC3R and DA VINCI 1.0

    since the XYZPRINTING programmer is not slicing good resolution...

    FIRST OF ALL CHECK YOUR DA VINVI FIRMWARE... IF HAVE A NEWER VERSION RETURN TO TH VERSION: 1.1.31.7
    OR YOU CAN MAKE THE FOLLOWING STEPS AND SEE IF THEY WILL WORK WITH YOUR CURRENT FIRMWARE... THOUGH DO NOT UPGRADE FIRMWARE IF THE FOLLOWING STEPS WORK TO YOU... ACTUALLY WILL WORK WITH SLIC3R AND NOT NEED A NEW FIRMWARE...

    1.DOWNLOAD THE NOTEPAD ++ UTILITY http://notepad-plus-plus.org/
    2. DOWNLOAD THE SLIC3R... SLICER :; http://slic3r.org/

    3. After have design your object save it as .STL

    4. Launch SLIC3R... Of course have to make you XYZ (DA VINCI) settings. Just surf around the SLIC3R also can see your XYZ slicer for other information for your printer... Take info from there and paste to SLIC3R.

        I have been recommended Slic3r also. Which G-CODE flavor do you select when configuring Slic3r for da Vinci 1.0?
