Does anyone know of any good 3D printing websites that I could read up on? I'm looking to find some general information as well as maintenance and that sort of thing.

Maybe not really what you are looking for, but I really love Shapeways.
There are tons of cool gadgets and genius tools that people have printed. If you ever run out of inspiration I really recommend visiting Shapeways.

The pirate bay has a lot of 3D models for you to print ( not all of which are illegal mind you, despite them being from the pirate bay).
Also, doing a quick search I found a good website called 3ders.org. It explains all the basics, how 3D printing works etc.Comment
