im new to this forum, and pre-new to 3d printing. Ie; I’m thinking of purchasing a 3d printer but am unsure which to go for. I’d like to produce bits and pieces that can be used in the home, in the car,etc etc. I want a unit that I can use indoors, that won’t stink up the joint, or be so noisy that it’s distracting. And.. here’s the rub... I’m in Australia, and I want to buy local as that’s the best way to support my friends and family.
So.....
im thinking that the following will be important to me (but may be wrong so please let me know)
- fully enclosed
- metal frame
- heated bed
- removable magnetic build plate (or whatever you call it)
- fully or mostly assembled
- for sale in Australia
what else do you guys think I should be looking at? Any recommendations?
