Learn Everything 3D

My name is Randall and I am new here. I am highly interested in learning all I can about 3D printing. From 3D print design to engineering and tech coding. If you have any advice as to what software, books and etc I could use I would be very thankful.

I've received some awesome advice from earlier posts and comments. Does anyone have advice on the tech end of things?

do you mean a general overview of FDM vs DLP vs SLA etc? Or do you mean that you want to build a 3d printer and understand how it works? For the first I say Wikipedia. For the second nothing beats buying a rep rap kit and assembling it yourself.

All of the above, haha. Thank you very much cymon. I'll jump on Wikipedia to see exactly what it is you mean regarding the first part. There's a man who printed a small kids castle with a homemade 3d printer. I have ideas for home designs and would really like to understand everything I can about this.
