Having just got a (very) cheap CTC DIY-1 3D printer kit, it seemed worthwhile joining a forum as I've had no end of problems. Fortunately there's plenty of good advice in places like this so I've been able to sort out most of the issues without having to actually ask for specific help (so far!).
Just browsing through some of the latest topics here I was so impressed with the brief but helpful reply to "2d personal photo to 3d", I didn't know Cura could do that, WOW.
In due course I might write something about my experiences with the CTC printer in the hope that it might help other new users of this cheap (but quite capable) machine.
