    Peechy Printer

I have been following this guy since I discovered him on a crowd sourcing site. He proposes a completly different method of printing 3D. I don't have the tech background to understand if this is better or worse, or even achievable, but the video is certainly impressive.

Is this the future of 3D printing?

To me this technology seems a little far-fetched in todays world. But, if he thinks he can achieve it and has the backers to do so then go for it. I am excited to see where this technology goes if it is possible to achieve it.

I agree hdejong, it does seem a little "out there", but they probably said that about the airplane 100 years ago. He received a ton of money to work out the kinks and refine things, and I am sure that there are others working on this same process, so it will be interesting to see where this leads.
