    Is this printable?

Hey all. I have Zero experience with 3d printing or 3d modeling. I plan on downloading Autodesk 360 and watching some tutorials. I want to make a simple speaker grill for a specific speaker so measurements have to be pretty exact. I want to make a raised a grill so there is a flat part that screws to the speaker and then a raised part about an inch above it. The picture is from a google search for basically what i want to make out of one piece. Is that possible or would it perhaps be better to make it out of a flat piece and then heat up a bowl and press the 3d print into that shape to get the 1'' raise.

    Hi,

This is a cool idea! It would probably be best to print it out as one whole piece already in the shape you require as apposed to printing a flat piece and then moulding. Only thing you would need to worry about is the support material but that should not be a big issue with the right settings! What material were you planning to print in? We offer affordable printing in a range of materials.
