    Convertion from STL to autocad

    I have dificulty in converting from stl file to autocad. So i can modify the design.

    Hi Reynaldo,

    You can use Fusion 360 to convert the .STL to a solid that can be edited. FreeCAD also has this ability. There are Youtube guides on how to do this.
    Then proceed to export it to the desired format. Hope this helps.

      Whilst you can easily import an STL design into an editing program, that won't provide the ability to revise the original design of that STL object. That ability would need use of the original design program AND the original design.

      The STL file is a list of instructions to manufacture a shape, a bit like using a map to get from point A to point B. Whilst the map is instantly usable, it doesn't provide any information about how the map was created.
