Does Anet a8 come with firmware if it "comes with" auto leveling

Just bought an anet a8 off ebay. Like many of the package deals now a days they include the auto leveling sensor.

I'm halfway through building the printer and I'm not sure if the printer is going to have the firmware to use the auto leveling.

If my printer came with the autoleveling sensor in the box with all the other parts is it safe to assume my printer will be able to autolevel?

Obviously I'll find out once I finish building it and turn it on, but I'm waiting for upgrade parts to come in the mail so I thought I'd ask.

    Thanks in advance!

Short answer, no. If you run it on Marlin (I assume Sprinter and such have similar methods), you will have to edit the Configuration.h file to use a touchless sensor for the z minimum endstop. The config file has a number of sensors ready to be uncommented for use, but I believe you will have to tell the config which it is, where your sensor is mounted (x, y offset from nozzel), and what kind of leveling you want. Have fun with your Anet!

I doubt the firmware and maybe even bootloader are installed marlin has the spot for setting up autolevelling and all the other settings needed.
