    A8 hits X & Y limits without halting - Z limit is fine

I select AUTO HOME and the printhead moves to the left, hits the limit switch, but does not stop. In about 2 seconds of trying to go farther left it stops. It then starts on the Z axis and hits the limit switch correctly and then goes up a bit and then settles as it should. I also have an issue with the Y axis that does not register the limit switch. I ohmed out all 3 limit switches to the end of the cable and all are fine and all connections are correct. I Reloaded the original firmware with no change and the went to Marin 1.1.8 and it has the same issue. Bad logic board?

Open what every you use for communicating with the printer. For example, Open Pronterface.exe. Connect to printer. Type the following and press enter, "M119". This should say the state of you endstops for x,y and z. Manually cause one endstop with an issue to trigger and type, "M119", again and press enter. Does the state of you endstop change? What is displayed after entering this gcode?

On my Anet ( POS ) A8 printer the xaxis limit switch mounting block prevented the xaxis limit switch hrom closing.

rather then grinding it out of the way , I pulled the closer mount screw, rotated it foreward and replaced the mounting screw behind it as a backstop.

UGLY solution, but the limit switch now works,

Would love to hear other solutions.

Never had a y limit switch problem

      Z now, thats another story.
