My son did a lot of printing in quick succession as soon as he received his printer. After roughly 50 hours of printing, the printer stopped being able to pull the filament. We took some video to show the problem. We relaced the filament motor gear but that didn't solve the problem. Anyone have ideas on what to look at next? Thanks.

by MarklaGood evening everyone, i recently bought a flashforge adventure 3 pro, i immediately noticed that the Flashprint software prints a very thick base platform and therefore consumes a lot of PLA unnecessarily.
consulting the internet i learned that Ultimaker Cura is an excellent program with which to create Gcode from .stl files, so i opted for this solution, but from Cura i can't setup a profile dedicated to my Adventure 3 pro, because it isn't there, and it doesn't i can connect directly...-

by SparkpluggHi all,
I'm a happy owner of an FF Inventor since a few weeks. I use TinkerCad and Flashprint with generally good results. I have not tweaked with general settngs. I am however lost regarding an offset, of sorts, for maximum prints - new spoolers.
First picture ('corner') shows lower left corner of a maximum print of small boxes. As you can see, It prints 1-2 mm too far to the left. I can live with that, but assume it is configurable somewhere? The y axis is good.

by PelicanHi,
I'm pretty new to the forum but I've already experimented a bit with my 3d printer.
I have a Flashforge Creator Pro (version 1) with which I successfully made several prints with black ABS filament. I assumed I was using the right extrudor temperature, bed temperature and other settings. I'm using a raft.
Trouble arised when I switched to white ABS filament. I wanted to print the exact same model in white instead of black. Two prints went fine, but on the third...-

by jimboemgeeHi All
Downsizing some here at the office and have a Flashforge Hunter looking for a new home in US of A.
The printer is in excellent condition. Hasn't been operated for about 6 months.
Located in SoCal in case you wanted local pickup. If to ship, we'd work out the particulars.
Please contact me to make me an offer. All reasonable offers considered.
Cheers,
J-

by babj615We all know FlashPrint is ok for finished projects, but very incapable when compared to other slicers like Cura, etc.
Who here has a Creator Pro 2 and what Slicers are you using for your projects?
Thank You!-

by BenFarHello all,
I'm new to the 3d printing so i apologize if i sound foolish. I purchased a Flashforge Dreamer and got it yesterday. I printed the test cube immediately and had no problems. Then i printed a batarang for my son. After this the machine stopped allowing the material through the right nozzel. Dont think it is clogged. It wont let be print with the left extruder. Very frustrating. Tried calling FF directly but went straight to voicemail that was full. Not expecting much help there....-

by windows__xp_Hi there! im kind of here as a last resort right now, i have a problem with my extruders that i just cannot fix. When it is printing (both extruders have this problem), no filament is coming out, and it makes an odd, i guess clicking sound, and when i hold the filament, it bounces slightly. This isnt a clog, as i have taken both extruders apart and gone through the unclogging process, and i can also push fillament through a heated nozzle manually. it also "prints" when filament loading....

by HwheelerHey all, I'm new to the forum, and came here because I couldn't find an answer to a problem I've got through google searching... Maybe I just don't know how to ask google the right question, or maybe its a simple problem most people don't need help with...
Either way, I have a Powerspec Ultra 2.0 (Flashforge Dreamer in a Flashforge Creator Pro case), and I recently made some upgrades to it. I installed the Microswiss all metal hotend on the Right extruder with a hardened steel nozzle,...-

by JoymakerI went to the Flashforge store to buy replacement nozzles for my 3 year old Creator Pro. I find an "updated" nozzle and with it the statement that it also needs an aluminum tube, and maybe another part besides. I'm confused. Could someone give me a clear rundown on this whole "updated" nozzle business and what it requires, and what it buys me? And whether I would want to do this, compared to keeping on buying the original version?

by GrantBI got 4 Dreamers, 3 have logged over 2000 print hours, the other 2500 hours in the last several years..
One build plate died a week ago, so I replaced it with a 320x220 rubber heat mat & glass plate, 3 printed feet to fix to the original mounting locations, the addition of a solid state relay to switch the 220v mat... hooked to the 24v bed output to switch the relay & a thermocouple under the mat.... and YAY a decent sized build platform now.
The extruders are fed from...-

by +Christiane+I want to ask, Anyone know if Cura works with Flashforge Dreamer?
If yes, is there a template for the printer that I can add to Cura?
Because I didn't find Flashforge Dreamer in the list of printers in Cura.-

by +Christiane+Does anyone know a good removable surface for the flashforge dreamer?
Is there something that is not thick and not expensive?
I saw the Printinz removable surface but it is thick.
The Buildtak flexible surface system is expensive.
Is there something flexible, thin and not expensive?
I searched for PEI but I found surfaces that stick to the buildplate.
It doesn't have to be magnetic, I can add clips to hold the surface, right? Or the clips can melt?-

by terry1956hi chaps, I have been printing with the XYZ printer for a year now, using Simplify3d to split the parts I print for models. Now I have been thinking of getting a new machine. my questions are
.
1. is the flashforge creator pro worth the money, will it give me better results then the XYZ printer.
2. will I be allowed to use or the controls within Simplify3d as at the moment they don't work, ie fan speeds ect, printing speeds
3. will I be able to use cheaper filament, as the...-

by GrandeliusHi! I got a Finder this weekend and love the machine so far. Much more reliable than my previous 3D printer experiences. But I have one problem. I try to use painters tape on the print bed, but no matter how many times I recalibrate the bed level, the nozzle just plows deep into the tape resulting in no filament getting extruded. I even tried the "calibrate extruder" function with paper as suggested in the manual, but that didn't help either.
Is there anyone else who has had this...-

I'm new to the 3DPrint world, but am trying to make the immediate jump to printing with nylon. A FlashForge Creator Pro has arrived in my school's department and has the basic ABS / PLA threads with a dual-extruder.
To avoid putting materials with different melting points through the same extruder head, I've taken a notice of the Kraken quad extruder.

by WaldemarHello
I'm thinking about investing in my first 3D printer, and I was looking for some advice on what to buy.
I was looking at the Flashforge Finder, and it looks good, but my concern is that it has no support for heated bed, and is not able to print with Ninjaflex (or am I wrong there?). A good thing with the Finder is that it is more or less Plug-and-play.
The Velleman one has support for dual head, and it is possible to add a heated bed on it, but looks...-
