    EnvisionTec Perfactory Micro Printer

Hi i am interested in buying this printer. Can anyone tell me what is the lifetime or what are the working hours for this printer. And also if someone has any kind of information about the price of the spare parts of the printer, like for example the laser.

Not that I would know the answer to your question, but for those that might it may help to specify which printer. Is it the standard family, desktop family, or micro family?

Hopefully the manufacturer has the statistics you are after, although I would not guarantee it. You should try asking them, bearing in mind they might be tempted to be a little optimistic in their estimation.

These printers work with powder or resin that actually cures with UV... Most of printers DO use a common projector.
I would say for the small models - thus cheaper would use a low resolution projector...

Projectors have a 2000hours I presume of life to their lamps... And then change... Still have to ask if can find parts in the after market or have to buy from the company...

the price for the resin or powder - filament is a little bit salty (3 times more )comparing with the plastic FF 3D printers... A spool cartridge of 1.75mm thickness and good quality can be bought from 25USD...And a 70USD ~ 250USD of the UV cure tech...

Price for a small printer starts from 1500USD... Can find in KICKSTARTER for less something like 800~100USD...

Also the building table is way smaller than a FF 3D printer....

It is all about what you need for?

I am waiting for new ideas tocome... And will definitely have one in the next 2 ~ 3 years... Waiting for prices to drop.

3ders.org has an good price compare site, for printers and filaments.
The mikro works with an normal projector, not with a laser.
And over the last tree years, our mikro works fine (about 20-40 hours weekly)

We bought the mikro because of the resolution, 50 mikrometer and the direct casting resin.
