    How to print a file?

Hello everybody I'm pretty new with 3d printing, I just recently got a Monoprice Mini Delta. I'm just wondering how can I print designs from like Thingiverse or MyMiniFactory. I tried Astroprint but it seems like I have to buy the Astrobox ($200) because when I turn the stl file into a gcode file and transfer it to my sd code nothing shows up on my printer or it just doesn't do anything. Is there any other way I can print designs people already made?
P.S. I'm not that artistic with 3d design and I use a chromebook so yeah.

you have to be careful with any files (stl obj) you get from thingiverse and yeggi most are free and some will not print right. Advise you get two programs one is meshlab its free open source and netfabb which has a free version it will ask for a key if you wait it opens free version. When you first load an stl if may say it has errors those two programs can fix files that may not print right. You should look at starting to use tinkercad to make some stuff to print. Try searching for 3d benchy its a boat (cool little thing) it tests your printer settings etc. also get a better sd card like kingston

The best thing is to create things yourself. You can use online (free) software to start ...TINKERCAD. We also have free tutorials and lessons online. TinkerCAD is super easy. https://www.3dxstream-university.com/course-grid/
Tinkercad is a free, easy-to-use app for 3D design, electronics, and coding.
