I bought this Thermister

I liked this one because it could go up to 300C and it is different than the one that came with the wanhao. To test I hooked up the new on to the bed temp then shoved the sensor in the opposite side of the heater block. At room temp they read about the same. When the set to 250 the new one reads 270. SO I must change something in the firmware according to the site I bought it from. This seems to be pretty involved I guess.
Is it possible to pull the current configuration on the firmware? It seems everything I found is doing all the setting from scratch. and there are many settings.
What am I missing I have not been able to find a good step by step instructions for a new person to edit the existing setting on the firmware. I thought there would be something to do the editing thru the existing USB but guess not?
Basically I am taking this old i3 printer and reworking all the parts to make a new printer like the one I am designing in the attached image. Been working on this for a couple weeks and been through 4 redesign. Been pretty happy with this one. All the white parts will be printed. he print Volume will be 200x200x250mm with a printer size of about 330x330x550mm.
