Hi, I'm pretty new to 3d printing, and I'm enjoying it very much! I bought a geeetech prusa i3 pro B and I've been getting decent prints out of it. Currently I'm trying to add a cooling fan, but I don't know where to plug it in on the gt2560. It's only a 2pin fan, so I wasn't sure if I could use the pwm pins or not. It's running Marlin, and I'm not sure if I need to modify the software too. I'm sorry if this is something super simple, but any help would be appreciated

Check out the GT2560 wiki on Geeetech. This image shows the 3 pins being used. http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.p...560_wiring.jpg (see the middle right of the picture)
The complete specs & wiring for this board are here: http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/GT2560
No modifications are needed as the firmware should come pre-configured for the PWM. You will need to control it from your printing software.Last edited by bernbout; 12-19-2016, 04:56 AM.
