    Help please

    I'm upgrading this printer:

    for auto level using a LJC18A3-H-Z/BX 1-10mm sensor, the sensor is normaly open, added the resistor so tha the signal is only 3.5V.

    Originaly my printer came with repetier firmware. Asked the seller and he send me tis firmware:

    Before writing the firmware i have made a copy, but simething as gone wrong, becouse i can't return to repetier.

    I have followed the instrutions and writed the firmware that the seller sent me, after that when i ghive the comand home all the printer head strays in the midle of the bed.

    Can someone help me on how to setting up and load a new firmware.

    Do i need anything elso to connect the board to arduino?

    What happens when you send your printer a G28 command?

      I don't use those comands. But when i press the infiduvual homing butons on repetier host it seams ok.

        talked to seller and he as sent me a new firmware to upload with arduino.

        In arduino i managed to compile the firmware ok, but when i try to upload i'm always getting this message:

        "avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0002
        0x3c != 0x3b
        avrdude: verification error; content mismatch"

          Be sure you are using version 1.0.6 of the IDE to program it. Newer versions can cause errors.

            Well, just made up my mind.
            It seams that i have a problem with the board, so i just order a ramps 1.4 kit (with the advantage that it suports dual extruder).
            It should arrive in a couple of days.

                I have received the ramps 1.4 board.
                Made all the conections, and it seams ok.
                I tryed to upload marlin firmware, but it only moves the x axel, when i try to home y the led flashes orange and it freezes.
                Needless to say that i don't know much (to sai the least) about programing.

                Managed to get the sensor working for auto level

                Got a ramps 1.4 to replace the melzi, since i could not upload firmware that was sent by the seller.
                Ramps 1.4 Kit + Mega 2560 r3 + 5x a4988 + LCD 2004 Display
