So i have a Hictop prusa i3 3dp-18 printer. I swapped out the hotend for a real e3dv6. I am having issues with temperature so i want to go in and edit the text fir thermister type along with the temperature limits and all that. I have not been able to figure out how to get this file to open. I downloaded the firmware from the hictop website. Is there a way to do this? Or pull it off the printer ? I have tried to just make it all new from scratch and it will do things but does not acknowledge the end stops and will not move on the x and y. And only down on the z. Feel if i can just edit the factory firmware it would be easier. Is this possible ? Let me know if you need any more info.
