    STL viewer for java

this isn't quite 3d printing, but i wrote a little STL viewer for java made it open sourced and hosted it on

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/stl-viewer4j/
    https://github.com/ag88/stl-viewer

apparently it may not be able to read just about any/every STL files, and it may freeze for some STL files, would work out the issues as i 'debug' the app.
in a way i didn't do this alone, I made attributions to developers various open sourced software components as i integrated the pieces to make a functional viewer
rotating the models is still pretty rough, but it is pretty much built-in standard java3d model navigation.
hopefully this provides an additional option to view stl files and as it is open sourced, one may extend it to develop it further.
do give it a try and your inputs are welcomed
note that some of the software stacks / components that made this possible are like the JOGL (Java - Open GL ) stack and java3d stack maintained by http://jogamp.org/ communities.
they are really good as an open sourced effort. There could nevertheless be incompatibilities for various platforms hence 'your mileage may vary'

Hi ag123, This looks pretty cool. Which repository has the latest code, github.com or sourceforge.net?
