Brand new, not a clue: is there an app for that?

I don't even own a printer yet. I have a design in my mind, and I would like to make it a reality. Is there a decent 3D rendering app that is compatible with a beginner printer? If not, I'll need to do it on a computer and will go from there. Tbanks

There is no decent 3D design software on a phone.

There are the stl viewer apps that you can use to view the model. If you want to make a model, you could try the OpenSCAD equivalent. (Sorry I dont have the names of these because my phone is not with me.) But it would be very cumbersome to try to use the SCAD because of all the typing involved. It is a programming language based CAD that I love because I am a software developer.
