    Anycubic Disaster ABS,PLA, PETG!

Hi I was printing great for 2 months wiht ABS, PLA and PETG and then I cant seem to be able to print anything. First I tried printing PETG and the model came out brittle like sponge. I changed to PLA and ABS the same thing. Thought it was due to moisture, I dried the filament, same thing. Cleared the nozzle nothing. Tried different settings nothing.
It prints the first couple of layers and then the subsequent layers seem to be burned up.The whole model turned out soft, like sponge and dissolves in my hands when squished. It prints as if after some layers the nozzle adjusts lower and burns through the bottom layers . I have also updated my cura slicer , maybe this is to blame?
    I would appreciate any recommendations.
    Thank you

Perhaps you are printing too hot. This might not be intentional and could be caused by the hotend temperature sensor not being held sufficiently tight in the block.

I have an Anycubic i3 Mega Ultrabase and I've found that you need to find the perfect sweet-spot of extrusion temperature, printing speed and retraction parameters to avoid problems with the hotend.

The approach I take is to use materials which will print at lower temperatures. The ReprapperTech ABS and PLA I use will print at 220C and 185C respectively. The Dutch Filaments (now Mitsubishi Plastics) PETG I use will print at 210C. I print at 50mm/sec with a retraction of 5mm at 50mm/sec. Travel speed is 150mm/sec.

Thank you for your reply! Today I flashed the firmware and installed a fresh copy of cura. Also I used a ready profile in cura that I downloaded from thingyverse for anycubic kossel plus which I changed to ( the recommended by anycubic) selection of deltabot. I tried printing a boaty with ABS and it worked flawlessly, then tried printing PETG which started to be rough , then I dialed down the temperature from 240 to 225 and printed great. So probably I was printing hot, don't know if it was the printer or me and by just installing fresh default setting everything got ok. I was using the anycubic profile from thingyverse for quite some time without problem. I might have to find a way to test my temperature censor . Thanks again!
