    Azteeg x5 Mini controller

    Has anyone purchased this controller and got it working? I bought one a couple weeks ago and it wont read from the sd card. There isn't really any support from Panucatt despite the fact that they claim to have the best documentation and support. I don't want to connect it to the printer until i get this working. In the meantime i've purchased another less expensive one and i'll connect which ever i get working first.

    Yes.. what files do you have on the s card? It worked for me ..but its taken some time to get the settings right..

      first i formatted sd card to fat 32, then added a gcode file, that didnt work so added and sd/ directory and put a gcode file there just in case. but that didnt work.

        So the Azteeg series of boards use Smoothieware.. they need a config.txt on the SD card.. configured for your 3d printer... is that on the SD..have you configured all the settings? There is tons of info on smoothieware.. I can guide you to the info to get you started..

            yes the config.txt is on the sdcard which is inserted into the board. its the card in the lcd panel that isnt being read. the board is not connected to printer yet. Once its connected to the printer i can no longer connect to pc via usb.

              So in the config.txt you configured the SD to enable in correct section...let me attach the config.txt fios I will compare it to mine ...I do not use the Viki LCD.. I use the web ui from my phone..

                i copied the config.txt from the web site and enabled the vicky2. had to delete some because too large to post all.
