    Assistance with parts

I have had a prusa i3 for 4 years. I purchased as a kit and got ripped off, short story, I have rebuilt electric parts but may need someone to print 2 or three parts to finish it. I’ll pay to have them printed if someone in Australia is willing to do so. I have some great ideas for printing things for my prosthetic leg and would like to finally see this thing working. If anyone is willing please message me.

Hope you find someone near that can help you! Just out of interest what parts are you missing?

Australia is a big country. Where in Oz are you?

I am the moment moving. Will be able to print for you only end Feb. if you can wait.

I’m in UK but will print and post for cost. Do you have files for the parts?

Update, I’ve fashioned some bits from aluminium channel, I’m finally in calibration stages. If I can ever finish that I might be good to go. Thank you guys, I’ll get back to you soon.

Great to hear, hopefully you can get it working well enough to print your own parts I'd be interested in seeing your printer.

I’m up to trying to print, however I think it’s a slicer problem. My print starts up in the air about 20mm. I crack the shits and reinstalled everything from scratch even Arduino Cura the lot... I was noticing this time it printed a couple mm above the bed. Looking at the gcode, it said something like g92 z5 or something so I think I have to learn why... if it’s not one thing it’s the next.kinda feeling like it’ll never work. I’ve spent so much time on it. No wonder why not everyone has one. I’ve spent 3 days straight trying to get it up and running. I had to bench it last time as I just didn’t have the time or money to replace parts... fingers crossed it’s nearly there
