Possibly a stupid question, but here goes.
I'm building a small, portable printer, (120mmx120mm bed, not sure on height yet, that'll depend on motors and lead screw availability)
Anyway, in a bid to keep my costs (and weight) down, I was looking for alternatives to nema 17 motors. Looking around I realised that the hobby king Mini Fabrikator V2 uses smaller motors (nema 11 like the first one I think)
So this got my thinking, are there any cheaper motors that come well recomended? and would a nema 11 motor work well in a bowden extruder setup?
Thanks
Dan
