Hi all i have a ctc prusa i3 b clone and i was wanting to add auto bed leveling what i would like to know is there someone on the forum already succeeded in doing this
and would they like to share their experience with us.
I have a ctc i3 pro b, i have added a bed levelling sensor, changed the hot end to an e3dv6 clone, changed the top mounts of the frame, changed the screen for a 12864, and added a bowden style remote extruder
The sensor was quite simple, you need a voltage divider to bring the output voltage down to 5v (toms guide on youtube) its then wired into the z axis endstop, then you have to go into marlin and tell it you have a probe, its offset, and you want bed levelling
You need to print a mount for the sensir probe, ive a blue tipped 18mm sensor
thanks for your input you say that you connected to z axis endstop was this just 2 wires on the z min or do you perhaps have a picture of the board with changes i do presume it is the gt 2560 board, it is a 18mm yellow tip sensor that i have.
i have also changed the top mounts on the frame i also and a chain for the cables i have also purchased new z axis rods 8mm T8 with 2mm pitch i also bought aluminum 3mm and made a new table i also have added the thingverse frame brace http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2149168. i to have a screen 12864 but i could never get this to work.
Yeah its the gt2560 rev a i have, i used the wire for the z axis without unplugging it, one wire went to the probes signal and the other to ground, i will get a picture of the board and divider shortly, when my little one goes to bed, he lives to help by pulling stuff lol
